TILL ALL PEOPLE
Were ONE PEOPLE
--- THE CHOSEN PEOPLE ---
Living On One Earth
SHARING ALL of Its RICHES
And SHARING
The Greatest Riches of All:
¡ EACH OTHER !
It ... All ... Started
In An Ancient
Divided
City
--- A CITY ON A HILL ---
Over Which
Two ... Ancient ... Enemies
Endlessly
Faught
Even To The Point of...
--- KILLING ---
One Another's...
¿ ¡ CHILDREN ! ?
Each Side Claimed The City For Its Own
And Would Not Have The Other Within Its Walls
And Each Called The City...
A 'Holy City'
And Each Dedicated It...
To Their Own
Separate
Gods
Whom EACH Side Called:
" The One True God "
Although ...
--- IF ---
THERE TRULY IS
BUT ONE TRUE 'GOD'
Then Surely ...
BOTH SIDES
ARE REFERRING TO ...
¡ THE VERY SAME 'ONE' !
¿ One City ?
¿ One God ?
¡ Yet The CITY Was CLOVEN IN TWO !
¡ And The PEOPLE Were CLOVEN IN TWO !
And THEY HAD
--- BY THEIR CLEAVING ---
CLOVEN GOD
¡¡ IN TWO !!
And THIS HOLY CITY
Was But A SYMBOL
... OF THE CONDITION ...
OF MAN'S WHOLE WORLD
Which Even Then
Was DIVIDED
Into Over a Hundred
Separate
¡ Nations !
And Though THERE IS
¡ BUT ONE GARDEN !

¿ How Many ?
¿ How Many ?
FENCES
HAVE
THEY
¿ PLANTED ?
Has It Never Occurred To Anyone
That A House Divided
Against Itself
¿ Cannot Stand ?
Has It Never Occurred To Anyone
That EARTH
Is A House
¿ Divided ?
But It HAS
Occurred
To Someone !
It HAS
Occurred
To MANY !
And WHEN
It OCCURS
TO ALL OF US
Then EARTH
Shall Be DIVIDED
¡ NO MORE !
AND WE
SHALL
¡ STAND !
And So ...
In THIS
Fair
City
Called:
'Jerusalem'
A Path of Peace ...
¡ IS Found !
... And HERE IS ...

Since It Was Realized
That Neither Side
Could Have The City
All To Itself

Without Incurring The Wrath
And The Terror
Of The Other
And Since Neither Side
Had The Wherewithal
To Annihilate
The Other
The Two Sides Decided To:
SHARE
THE HOLY CITY
And To Let No Part of It
Be Denied
To ANY
Of Its Citizens
And The City Would Be Overseen
By A COUNCIL OF ELDERS
MADE UP OF EQUAL PARTS
OF BOTH SIDES
With EQUAL Representation
In ALL Aspects
Of Civic Administration
From The Police Force
To Public Works
To Adjudication
And The City's REVENUES
--- Likewise ---
Would Be DISTRIBUTED EQUALLY
¡¡¡ TO ALL NEIGHBORHOODS !!!
And Since The City
Could Not Be Known
--- To The World ---
As Belonging
To Either Side
... Exclusively ...
Nor Be Represented
Under The Flag
Of Either
It Was Decided To:
Make of Jerusalem
An International City
--- The Very FIRST ---
INTERNATIONAL CITY
On The Face Of The Earth:
A City Belonging To ALL
Of The World's People
And Not Merely
To The Two Sides
Who Were NOW
The Joint Care-Takers
Of This
... THE EARTH'S ...
¡ FIRST-CITY !
Along The Path of Peace ...
One of the most difficult issues
That needed to be peacefully resolved
Was over a particular plot of land
Where one side said a Mosque should stand...
And the other said:
A Temple
But Are Not The WORDS:
'Mosque'
And 'Temple'
And 'Church'
But Different NAMES
For The Very Same Thing ?
The Very Same 'Idea' ?
Built For The Very Same
¿ Purpose ?
Each Is a Place of Worship
To The Very Same God
If ... In FACT:
There BE
ONLY
ONE
TRUE
GOD
... And So ...
A TEMPLE
Was BUILT
AROUND
THE MOSQUE
--- Which Was Already Standing ---
And So The Mosque Appeared
In The Midst of
The Temple
--- Which Was Only Fitting ---
... SINCE ...
In 'Some' Ways ...
It 'Could' Be Said That:
The Mosque
Of Islam
And The Church
Of Christianity
--- AROSE ---
Out of The Temple
Of Israel
And ALL THREE OF THESE
--- AROSE ---
Out of The Seed
Of Abraham
And So It Was In This Way...
That The Two...
( Or Three )
'Religions'
Came Together...
As One
Both In The Structure...
Of This New...
CHURCH OF STONES
But Also ...
In The HEARTS
Of Their Respective Worshippers
Who ALL Pray
To The SAME GOD
Using DIFFERENT NAMES
In Different Tongues
In Different Ways

Then BECOMES
The Center of The World
In Which ALL
The Citizens
Of The Earth
ARE Welcome
And ALL ARE
WELCOME ...
To Worship God ...
In Their OWN Way...
Whether Jewish

Or Christian
Or In Any Other Way
Laid Down Before
Or To Be Laid Down
In Future
And Jerusalem Becomes...
The City of Peace
And A Symbol of Peace
To The Whole, Wide World
For If These Two
Ancient
Bitter
Enemies
Could Make Such a Peace
Then Surely ...
The Resolution
Of Any Other Conflict
--- Anywhere In The World ---
Would Be ...
¡ CHILD'S PLAY !
And Eventually ...
The United Nations of Earth
U.N.E.
Is Re-Located There
And New Jerusalem
Becomes ... The Capital City
Of The Planet Earth
And Its RESURRECTION
Ushers In
A Thousand Years of Peace
( At Last Counting )

Surely ...
If We HAVE
The WILL To Peace
Then The WAY To Peace
Will Present Itself
And Surely
There IS
Such A WILL !
For Would Not 'HE'
Who Hath Made
The Heavens And The Earth
Would Not 'HE'

The Children of The Earth ...
WILL
That They Live Together In Peace?

That They Love One Another?

That Each Finds Wisdom?

That Each Has Food?

That Each Has Clothing?

When my 'Vision' was over...
And I was about to laugh it off as...
--- 'Impractical' ---
At 'Best'...
My attention was caught
by a song
playing on the radio
which I had not been attending to
while lost
in my reverie
The radio was turned low
to a Classical Station
which
during the Noon hour
often played
different styles of music
usually grouped around
some theme
And on this particular day
the theme was:
' Old Christian Hymns '
And the Hymn...
That WAS...
--- at that very moment ---
Playing...
( I did not catch its name )
Had a Chorus...
That kept repeating...
Over
And Over
And Over
Again:
¡ New Jerusalem !
¡ New Jerusalem !
¡ New Jerusalem !
I ASSURE You:
¡ I DO NOT LIE !
It happened to me...
¡ IN JUST THAT WAY !
And while I suppose...
That it could be...
Just a 'Mere' Coincidence...
I Am Unable To...
'Write It Off' ... AS...
'JUST'
¡ 'THAT' !
But Whatever It Was...
And Wherever It Came From...
At The VERY Least...
You Gotta Admit:
PEACE
IS
A Pretty

GOOD
¡ IDEA !
And WOULD BE...

Reminiscent of...
A Hindu Temple
... Purely In The Spirit of ...
A Kind of...
'Global'
Inter-Religious
'Ecumenism'
But IF THAT...
BE ... NOT ... 'POSSIBLE'...

And All Precious Things...
THAT MATTERS
KNOW That ...
It IS The WORSHIPPERS ...
